To promote tenants and resident’s rights and good housing conditions at every possible opportunity.
To provide a forum for consultation and negotiation with Wirral Partnership Homes and other parties.
To bring improvements to the area; to increase community spirit; to provide social activities for all the sections of the community and to promote a safe and healthy environment.
To encourage the participation of every resident in the area above. In particular to promote equal opportunities and to oppose racism, sexism and all other forms of discrimination.
To affiliate to any body that furthers the interests of tenants and residents as agreed at the General or Annual General Meeting.
MEMBERSHIP
Shall be open to all tenants and residents in the designated area regardless of age, (although the minimum age for voting purposes shall be 18 years) race; disability; colour; gender; political or religious beliefs; marital status; or sexuality.
We are a group of dedicated community orientated people who want to promote and get the best for all members of this estate. We are a non profit making association and have not been able to access funding to any extent except for some help to publish our first two newsletters.
We have worked with other community groups and neighbourhood management here to organise some events and have received some donations from people who can see what we are trying to achieve and how little help we have recieved.There are many resident who want us to continue building our community as somewhere we are all proud and safe to live.
We are working to enable community led events and help other groups who work for the benefit of the residents continue to grow and develop.
